Dr Ashton Barnett-Vanes

Founder & CEO

Ash is an MB-PhD educated Physician Executive. He trained in Medicine at St George’s Hospital, London and practised for 6 years in the British NHS. He holds a PhD from The Royal British Legion Centre for Blast Injury Studies, Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London.

Sir George Buckley

Chairman

Sir George served as Chairman, President, and CEO of 3M, one of the world’s largest and most innovative engineering and technology companies. He is former Chairman of Smiths Group plc and Stanley Black & Decker. He served on the boards of PepsiCo and Hitachi.

Charlotte Sowa

Sales Director UK/I

Charlotte leads Javelo’s UK and Ireland Sales team. With a clinical background in nursing and midwifery, Charlotte brings sales and education expertise from roles at BBraun, Edwards Lifesciences (now Becton Dickinson) and ICU Medical.

Randy Hoffman

US General Manager

Randy is a medical device executive with 30+ years in infusion therapy, including senior roles at McKinley Medical and as Founder & CEO of CME America through to its acquisition by Becton Dickinson. A Pharm.D by training, Randy leads Javelo’s US operation.

Albert Nicholl

NED

Albert held senior commercial leadership roles at Stryker and Orthofix. As Chairman at Bioliberty, Nami Surgical and Suji BFR, Albert brings a wealth of Board experience in agile, fast-growing MedTech businesses.

Naomi Lee

Associate Sales Specialist (North/Midlands)

Naomi has a background in physiotherapy and supports customers in the Midlands and North to realise the clinical value and benefits of Javelo’s products.

Iain Taylor

Principal Design Engineer

Iain leads Javelo’s engineering and supply chain team. A graduate from the University of Glasgow and product designer by background, Iain has delivered multiple Class I and Class II healthcare products to market.

Dana Purves

Product Operations Engineer

Dana oversees Javelo’s product operations and supply chain, spanning design, engineering and quality control. A product designer by training, she is a graduate of Edinburgh Napier University.

Milli Patel

Operations Assistant

Milli supports Javelo’s UK and US teams across sales, product and financial operations. She holds a BSc in biochemistry from the University of Southampton.
